This knife was made as my backup knife for my journeyman smith test. If one of the other 5 blades had been scratched during the trip to Atlanta, this knife would have taken its place. Because of that, this knife is one of only 7 of my knives that will have my signature on the right hand side of the blade. It features a 52100 high carbon steel blade, a nickel silver guard and a truly gorgeous piece of curly maple.
